Why I Updated the TOS (and What It Actually Means)

Category: Updates

I just went through and completely updated the Terms of Service (TOS) for all my sites.
I wanted to make things clearer, more transparent, and aligned with EU & Romanian law — but also keep it simple and human, not “legal robot talk.”
Basically, this update doesn’t change how I run things — it just puts into words what was already true.

What changed (and why it matters) :)))

  • blog.andreiixe.website → this is my personal blog. Only admins (like me) can post.
No comments, no accounts, no data collection — just me sharing thoughts.

  • api.andreiixe.website → it’s read-only, showing public GitHub commits and Last.fm listening data.
It doesn’t collect or process anything from users. No POST, no tokens, no forms.

  • ppcproxy.andreiixe.website → this runs an open-source proxy based on my public GitHub project

  • It’s there for educational and testing purposes only — not for bypassing restrictions or commercial use.

  • dl.andreiixe.website → this one’s about preserving old software (“abandonware”) for educational and cultural use.
I don’t support piracy. Everything hosted there is public, freeware, or shared with permission.

  • About data and privacy

I don’t collect personal data. IPs are processed only temporarily for technical reasons.
Analytics are handled by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is anonymous and cookie-free — 100% GDPR compliant.

That’s all — I just want everything to be clear, fair, and transparent.
This isn’t a company, it’s just me building stuff for fun, learning orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I just starve, you decide :]]]
    See ya ^-^
